I can't get the refineries to power up. I have tried up to 8 combustion engines powering it (the engines are running on oil) using gold conductive pipe but I can't get the indicators to show anything but red. Please let me know what I can do to fix this. I'm using 3.4.2 for MC 1.4.7.

I can think of two possibilities at the moment:
1) you've got water in your refinery, or
2) you're not using a wooden conductive pipe to extract the power from the engines.
