Hey there,
i've installed buildcraft today, i use a bukkit server and my client already contains forge and the buildcraft mod..
So now: Where do i have to install the mod serverside? I tried in the plugins folder and a new created "mods" folder (as a .zip and as a .jar) but they won't work..
Now, i can see the new items in my inventory (creative mode) but when i set one, it transforms to the item i weared before in this slot..

I can't help with configuring buildcraft for the server (I thought it'd be a simple case of adding it to the server installs mods folder too) but can explain the issue you describe with items "changing" back to what they were previously. This is simply because the mod is missing on the server, and so as far as the server is concerned you never removed the original item. When you try and do something with it your client gets an update from the server and suddenly the item appears to revert back to what it was previously.Iamtk421 (talk) 20:43, December 4, 2012 (UTC)
